Orient vs. Imagine Banner Stand... Which Retractable Banner Stand is better or right for you?
I have been in the exhibit/graphics industry for over 6 years now and I grew up around the exhibit the industry my whole life due to my father owning one of the biggest Exhibit Houses in San Diego County; for what it is worth. At my graphics production job I also got the pleasure of install hundreds of banner stands from all sorts of different manufacturers.
Today, I would like to focus on the Popular Oreint and Imagine Retractable Banner Stands. First off what is the difference?
The Orient is designed for one graphic to be used for a long period of time or over the span of several shows, hence the attractive price $ 199 - 264.00. This is not to say that you can not change the graphic once installed... You can but you will need a decent amount of room or ideally a eight foot table. But for less than $ 300.00 why bother, just be sure your banner is not dated and use it for the shows you designed it for and display it in your lobby and be done with it.
The Imagine on the other hand is the best interchangeable cassette banner stand I have come across to date. I would go so far as to say it is even better quality than Expand Banner Stands. This banner stand is perfect for someone who plans to replace the graphic often. Not only can you change the graphic out at a snap but you can purchase a replacement cassette with graphic for less than it costs to buy an Orient. The Imagine also has a telescopic pole making it usable as a table top display.
In conclusion, the Imagine Retractable Banner Stand is the better investment in the long run. Its sleek look and inexpensive cost of replacing cassettes and graphics is unbeatable and reveals the smaller swivel foot banner stands that you see for less than $ 200.00.
